Description
Quink is Parker's own bottled ink, and this is the large 57 ml bottle rather than a cartridge pack. If you have been given a Parker — and in Pakistan a Parker is usually given rather than bought — this is the ink the pen was designed around, which takes the guesswork out of flow, drying and staining.
The price deserves a straight explanation rather than a shrug, because Rs. 3,650 sits beside Rs. 50 bottles elsewhere in this range. Two things justify it. First, 57 ml is a great deal of ink: a converter holds well under a millilitre, so a single bottle covers years of ordinary writing and works out cheaper per fill than buying cartridge packs over the same period. The carton is worth learning to read, because Parker packages Quink as both bottles and cartridges in very similar boxes and the icon strip along the bottom is how you tell them apart at a counter.
