The open set, with all ten silver tubes in a row and the Daler-Rowney Round brush laid in front of them.
Description
A red, black and white carton lettered Georgian Oil Colour, opening on ten silver aluminium tubes with a Daler-Rowney Round brush laid in front of them. The pack prints 10 x 38ml, 1.25 US fl oz and Total 380ml, and names itself as an Oil Colour Selection Set in six languages down the front panel.
Georgian is Daler-Rowney's artist oil range, and on our shelf it is the set that quietly wins. At Rs. 10,500 for 380 ml it works out at Rs. 27.63 a millilitre and Rs. 1,050 a tube - and it is the cheapest per millilitre of every Daler-Rowney oil we stock except the entry-level Simply range.
Here is the comparison that matters and that most listings will not make for you. Our Daler-Rowney Graduate Oil set is the same format - ten tubes, 38 ml each - and costs Rs. 13,500, or Rs. 35.53 a millilitre. Graduate is the introductory range and Georgian is the artist range, so the better paint is also 22% cheaper per millilitre here. It also comes with a brush, which the Graduate set does not.
That makes this the straightforward recommendation of the two. If you were choosing between the ten-tube Daler-Rowney oil sets on price, on quality or on what is in the box, the answer is the same each time. We would rather tell you that than let the higher number look like the better product.
The ten shades are a mixing palette rather than a spread of ready colours - Titanium White, Lemon Yellow, Crimson Alizarin, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna and Ivory Black are among them, with a blue, a green and a warm yellow filling out both sides of the wheel. Ten well-chosen shades mix a great deal further than ten bright ones.
Oil colour thins and cleans with turpentine or a painting medium rather than water; we stock turpentine from Rs. 200 and linseed oil from Rs. 299. Paint on canvas, canvas board or another primed ground. We list this set from 12 years up. The Safencia price is Rs. 10,500 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan, and stock, your city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs
How does it compare with the Daler-Rowney Graduate set of the same size?
It is cheaper and it is the better range. The Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 is Rs. 27.63 a millilitre against Rs. 35.53 for the Graduate ten-tube set, and Georgian sits above Graduate in Daler-Rowney's own line-up.
Does a brush come with it?
Yes. A Daler-Rowney Round brush is packed alongside the tubes in the Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10, and it appears in every photograph of the open set on this page.
How much paint is in the box?
380 ml, as ten tubes of 38 ml each. The carton for the Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 prints 10 x 38ml, 1.25 US fl oz and Total 380ml on the front.
What does it work out at per tube?
Rs. 1,050 a tube, or Rs. 27.63 a millilitre. That makes the Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 the cheapest per millilitre of every Daler-Rowney oil we stock apart from the entry-level Simply range.
Which shades are in the set?
Titanium White, Lemon Yellow, Crimson Alizarin, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna and Ivory Black are among them, with a blue, a green and a warm yellow. The Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 is a mixing palette rather than a spread of ready shades.
Is Georgian a student or an artist range?
Artist. Daler-Rowney places Georgian above their Graduate introductory line, which is why the Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 being the cheaper of the two ten-tube sets is worth pointing out.
Can I thin it with water?
No. The Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 is a traditional oil colour, so it thins with turpentine or a painting medium and brushes are cleaned the same way.
What should I paint on?
Canvas, canvas board or another primed ground. Oil from the Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 will seep into raw paper over time and eventually show through the back.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Georgian Oil Selection Set of 10 in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
