Description
A 100 ml bottle with a black pump head, labelled Fashion-Spray and, beneath, Textilspruehfarbe, Fabric spray paint and Peinture textile a vaporiser. It is a finger pump rather than an aerosol, so there is no propellant, no hiss and no can to dispose of - it works on a table with newspaper under the cloth.
The reason to own one is the thing a brush genuinely cannot do. A brush puts colour where the bristles touch; this lays down a fine mist that fades out at the edges. That gives you two effects a fabric tube cannot reach: a soft gradient running across a whole cushion cover, and a crisp stencil edge with a soft interior, because the mist settles evenly around a mask instead of pooling against it.
Our own photographs show both. One cushion runs turquoise into pink with a white mandala left unsprayed where the stencil sat; another fades pink through peach to lavender across the whole face. Neither is achievable with the Keep Smiling fabric tubes, and the tubes do things this cannot - a thick opaque motif with a hard painted line.
