Red, Blue, Green, Neutral Glow, Orange, Yellow and Pink — not the single green most glow paint comes in.
2874 Green, one of seven glow colours, printed GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ACRYLIC PAINT on the label.
Description
Most glow-in-the-dark paint comes in one colour, a pale cream-green, because that is what the classic phosphorescent pigment looks like. FolkArt's range is the exception on our shelf: seven separate glow colours, each in its own 59 ml bottle, so a glowing design can have red in it, or blue, or pink, rather than being green by default.
The seven are named and numbered on the bottles: 7228 Red, 7229 Blue, 2874 Green, 2716 Neutral Glow, 2872 Orange, 2873 Yellow and 2871 Pink. Every label reads GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ACRYLIC PAINT with the French PEINTURE ACRYLIQUE PHOSPHORESCENTE beneath it, and 2 fl oz 59ml at the base. The brand is FolkArt, made by PLAID, whose mark sits at the top left of each label.
Phosphorescent is the word that matters. It means the pigment stores light and releases it slowly, so a painted surface genuinely glows in an unlit room after being charged under a lamp or in daylight. That is a different thing from the fluorescent neon paints we also stock — our Mont Marte Fluoro set and our Daler-Rowney Simply Neon tubes blaze under a black light and go dark the moment it is switched off.
On price this is Rs. 1,500 for 59 ml, which is Rs. 25.42 a millilitre. Our Daler-Rowney Simply Acrylic Glow in the Dark tube is Rs. 1,450 for 75 ml, or Rs. 19.33 a millilitre — 31% cheaper per unit of paint. But Daler-Rowney sells exactly one glow colour and FolkArt sells seven. If you want a glowing green ceiling of stars, buy the Daler-Rowney. If you want a glowing design in more than one colour, this range is the only way to get there on our shelf.
Two practical notes. In daylight these read as ordinary bright colours, and the glow only appears once the surface has been charged and the room goes dark — the longer the charge, the brighter and longer the glow. And they work best over a white or pale ground, which reflects the stored light back out instead of absorbing it.
We list these bottles from 10 years up. The Safencia price is Rs. 1,500 a bottle with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan. Stock, the colour you want, your city and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs
Which FolkArt Glow in the Dark colours can I order?
Seven: 7228 Red, 7229 Blue, 2874 Green, 2716 Neutral Glow, 2872 Orange, 2873 Yellow and 2871 Pink. Every FolkArt Glow in the Dark bottle is named and numbered on its own label.
Does it really glow without a black light?
Yes. FolkArt Glow in the Dark is phosphorescent — printed on every label as PEINTURE ACRYLIQUE PHOSPHORESCENTE — so it stores light and releases it slowly, glowing in an unlit room after being charged.
How is that different from neon paint?
Neon is fluorescent and needs a UV lamp shining on it. FolkArt Glow in the Dark charges under ordinary light or daylight and then glows on its own, which our Mont Marte Fluoro and Daler-Rowney Neon paints do not do.
Is there a cheaper glow paint?
Yes, in one colour. The Daler-Rowney glow tube on our shelf works out at Rs. 19.33 a millilitre against Rs. 25.42 for FolkArt Glow in the Dark — but that tube comes in a single pale shade where this range offers seven.
How do I charge it?
Leave the finished piece under a bright lamp or in daylight before the room goes dark. The longer FolkArt Glow in the Dark is exposed, the brighter the glow afterwards and the longer it lasts.
What should I paint onto?
A white or pale ground works best, because it reflects the stored light back out. FolkArt Glow in the Dark also works on canvas, board, wood, card and most craft surfaces.
What do the colours look like in daylight?
Ordinary bright colours — the red reads red, the pink reads pink. The glow from FolkArt Glow in the Dark only appears once the surface is charged and the lights go out.
Is it suitable for children?
We list FolkArt Glow in the Dark from 10 years up. It is an art and craft paint rather than a toy, and dried acrylic will not wash out of clothes or furnishings.
Can I pay cash on delivery for FolkArt Glow in the Dark in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch, including which glow colour you want. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
