The packaging does half the selling here: a miniature cinema popcorn box in pink-and-white stripes, clear lid on top, printed POP CORN — GRIP CAP ERASERS with 12 PIECES on the corner. Inside sit twelve lumpy yellow popcorn erasers, each moulded with the bumps and folds of a real popped kernel.
Every piece has a socket underneath, because these are cap erasers: push one onto the end of a pencil and the popcorn rides on top as its eraser. One of the photographs shows a piece seated on a striped pencil, which is the whole idea — twelve caps will crown a full pencil set, or one classroom row's worth of rewards.
