Opaque colour that sits on top of the surface, so gold reads on a black card and white reads on dark glass.
The slim barrels standing together, each naming its colour in English, French and Spanish down the side.
Description
A slim marker with a chisel tip, printed Pen-touch and CalliGrapher along the barrel with the colour named three ways underneath — BLACK / NOIR / NEGRO, GOLD / OR / ORO, and so on. Between them runs the specification: QUICK-DRY • PERMANENT • OPAQUE.
Those three words are the whole reason this exists as a separate thing from a calligraphy pen. A dip pen or a qalam carries ink, and ink needs paper to soak into — put it on a glossy invitation card, a glass bauble or a black envelope and it beads, smears or vanishes. This is paint in a chisel tip, so the letter sits on top of whatever it is written on, opaque and dry within seconds.
That combination is exactly what a Pakistani card season runs on. Gold lettering on a dark shaadi invitation, a name written across a glass jar for a mehndi table, a message on a black gift box, place cards for a walima, a title on a mounted school project — none of those can be done with a fountain pen or a fibre-tip, and all of them are ordinary work for this pen.
1.8 mm is the everyday chisel size. Held at a steady angle it gives the thick downstroke and thin cross-stroke that make lettering look like calligraphy rather than handwriting, and at this width a whole line of text still fits across a normal card. Keep the flat of the nib at one angle through the entire letter — the change in thickness comes from the direction the stroke travels, not from pressing harder.
We sell this in the same shop as reed qalams, dip pens and nib holders, and it is worth being clear that they are not competitors. A qalam is for ink on paper and gives a line no marker can imitate. This is for the surfaces the qalam cannot touch. Most people who letter seriously own both.
Rs. 560, in black, gold or silver. Shake it capped, then press the nib down on scrap until the colour flows before the first letter. Tell us the colour on WhatsApp when you order, and Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan.

FAQs
Will it write gold on a dark invitation card?
Yes, that is the job it is built for. The Pen-touch Calligrapher lays opaque paint on the surface, so gold and silver read clearly on black or deep-coloured card.
Is it a calligraphy pen or a marker?
Both, in a sense. The Pen-touch Calligrapher has a chisel tip like a calligraphy nib but carries opaque paint rather than ink, which is why it works on surfaces a nib cannot.
How do I get thick and thin strokes?
Keep the flat of the chisel at one steady angle and let the direction of the stroke do the work. Pressing harder does not widen a Pen-touch Calligrapher line the way it would a brush.
Which colours can I order?
Black, gold and silver, all at Rs. 560. Our photographs also show a white pen from the same range, which is not on our current list.
Does it work on glass and plastic?
Yes. The barrel states permanent and opaque, so the Pen-touch Calligrapher marks glass jars, plastic boxes and painted wood as readily as card.
Why is nothing coming out of a new pen?
It has not been primed. Shake the Pen-touch Calligrapher with the cap on, then press the nib down on scrap paper a few times until the paint reaches the tip.
Should I buy this or the 5.0 mm?
1.8 mm suits cards, place names and envelopes where a whole line must fit. The 5.0 mm is for headings, name boards and anything read from across a room.
How should it be stored?
Capped tightly and flat. Paint markers settle, so a shake before each session keeps the colour even, and a loose cap is what dries the nib out.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Pen-touch Calligrapher 1.8 in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Tell us on WhatsApp which colour you want. Orders are confirmed before dispatch, and delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities.
