The oils and thinners on this shelf are things you combine. This one is already combined and ready to pour.
The 75 ml bottle front on, with Painting Medium named in five languages under the Oil Mediums banner.
Description
Everything else in the Daler-Rowney Oil Mediums range is an ingredient. The linseed oils, the stand oil and the thinner are things a painter combines in some ratio of their own choosing, and getting that ratio right is a skill in itself. This bottle is the prepared version: a painting medium you pour and use, without deciding anything first.
That is what you are actually buying at Rs. 2,550, and it is worth naming honestly. The label says only Painting Medium — Médium, Malmittel, Medio de Pintura, Medium per Pittura — and gives no recipe. So we will not invent one. What is visible in our photographs is a deep gold liquid, noticeably richer in colour than the pale purified linseed oil beside it, and a drop of it beading on a white surface rather than spreading thin.
It is also the dearest bottle on this shelf. Rs. 2,550 for 75 ml is Rs. 34 per millilitre, against Rs. 28 for either of our linseed oils and Rs. 26.65 for the low odour thinner. You are paying a premium for the mixing being done for you, and whether that is worth it depends entirely on whether you enjoy that part of oil painting or find it a nuisance.
If you would rather learn the ratios, buy the Purified Linseed Oil at Rs. 2,100 and a thinner, and you will end up with more control and more total liquid for a similar outlay. If you want to open one bottle and paint, this is the one, and there is no shame in that — plenty of working painters keep a prepared medium on the bench precisely so a session starts faster.
The bottle carries the code 700 down the spine of the black and red Oil Mediums label, with 75ml ℮, 2.5 US fl. oz at the foot, and the line Carefully read all safety information before use along the bottom edge.
It suits oil painters from about 12 years up, working in a ventilated room. The Safencia price is Rs. 2,550 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan. Stock, your city, and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs
What is in Daler-Rowney Oil Painting Medium?
The label does not say. It names the product Painting Medium in five languages and prints no composition, so we are not going to guess one — what we can tell you is that it is a prepared medium rather than a single oil or thinner.
Should I buy this or mix my own?
Buy Oil Painting Medium if you want to open one bottle and start painting. If you would rather control the ratio, our Purified Linseed Oil at Rs. 2,100 plus a thinner gives you more liquid and more control for a similar outlay.
Why is it dearer than the linseed oils?
Oil Painting Medium is Rs. 34 per millilitre against Rs. 28 for either of our Daler-Rowney linseed oils. The premium is for the blending being done for you rather than for a larger or better bottle.
What does it look like?
Deep gold through the glass, noticeably richer in colour than the pale purified linseed oil on the same shelf, and in our photographs a drop of Oil Painting Medium beads on a white surface rather than running thin.
Will the golden colour tint my paint?
Any golden oil medium can warm a very pale passage slightly. If a white or pale tint matters on your piece, test Oil Painting Medium on scrap first, or use the water-clear low odour thinner for that passage instead.
Can I use it with acrylic paint?
No. Oil Painting Medium belongs to Daler-Rowney's Oil Mediums range and is for oil colour only. Our acrylic mediums cover the equivalent jobs for acrylic work.
How should the bottle be stored?
Capped, upright and out of direct sun. Oil Painting Medium contains drying oil, so a bottle left open will thicken in the neck, and the label asks you to read all safety information before use.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Oil Painting Medium 75 ml in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
