Dimension is Mont Marte's heavy-body acrylic, and it is a genuinely different paint from the Signature range rather than a different colour of it. The box lists four claims down the front — Ultra-thick and creamy, Gloss finish, Strong colour intensity and Excellent lightfastness — and the first one is the one that matters. Our photographs show each colour squeezed onto white and standing up in a peak rather than spreading out flat. That is what heavy body means in practice: a brush mark or a knife ridge stays where you put it while the paint dries.

The eight colours are named on the tubes: Titanium White, Lamp Black, Lemon Yellow, Orange, Permanent Red, Violet, Cobalt Blue and Monastral Green. That is a textbook mixing palette — a warm and cool at each primary, plus black and white — rather than a spread of ready-made shades. With eight tubes chosen this way you can mix a far wider range than the count suggests, which is exactly how an intro set for a heavy-body line should be built.

The tubes are printed 18mL, 0.6 US fl.oz, in a black-and-gold livery that separates them from the Signature line on a shelf, and each label carries a small opacity mark. The box front is repeated in French as Acrylique de Dimension and Spanish as Acrilico Dimension, and the pack is flashed 8pc.

At Rs. 1,950 for 144 ml, this set is Rs. 243.75 a tube and Rs. 13.54 a millilitre.
