Unlike the rest of this shelf it goes over completed work rather than into the paint on the palette.
The 240 mL bottle front on, with the rose Iridescent Varnish band over the dark scene graphic shared with the pouring medium.
Description
Most of our mediums shelf goes into the paint. This one goes on top of it, and it is the only bottle here bought for how the finished piece catches light. Brushed over completed work, Iridescent Varnish leaves a coat that shifts between pearl tones as you move past it — the surface reads differently from the left than from the right, which is an effect no pigment produces on its own.
The owner's photographs show it doing exactly that over poured acrylic work: a panel of pinks, blues and greens where the varnish coat pulls a rainbow sheen across the surface, and a separate swatch card carrying a much quieter pearl. Both matter. The dramatic result on the poured panel is what the effect can do over strong colour, and the subtle card is a fair warning that over a quiet painting the sheen will be quiet too.
In the bottle the varnish is milky white, and on a plate it pools as an off-white liquid rather than as anything visibly iridescent. That is normal — the shimmer appears in the dried film at an angle, not in the pot. Judge it on a test piece before committing a finished canvas, because a varnish coat is not something you take back off.
The label sits in the same fluid-art family as our pouring medium, with a dark scene graphic over a rose band: Iridescent Varnish, Premium, then Vernis Irisé and Barniz Iridiscente, with the volume on the black flash as 240mL, 8.11 US fl.oz.
It is the dearest Mont Marte bottle on this shelf at Rs. 9.17 per millilitre. Put that against our other varnish and the picture is still favourable: the Winsor & Newton Galeria Matt Varnish 75 mL is Rs. 36.67 per millilitre, four times as much, and it does the opposite job — killing sheen rather than adding it. Choose iridescent to make a surface glow, matt to calm one down.
It suits acrylic and mixed-media artists from about 12 years up finishing pour work, resin-style pieces or decorative panels. The Safencia price is Rs. 2,200 with Cash on Delivery across Pakistan. Stock, your city, and delivery charges are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch.

FAQs
What does Iridescent Varnish actually look like when dry?
It leaves a coat that shifts between pearl tones as the viewing angle changes. In the owner's photographs Iridescent Varnish pulls a strong rainbow sheen across a poured colour panel, and a much quieter pearl across a plain swatch card.
Why is the varnish white in the bottle?
Iridescent Varnish is milky white in the bottle and pools off-white on a plate. The shimmer belongs to the dried film seen at an angle, so what you see in the pot tells you nothing about the finished effect.
Will it work over any painting?
It will go over finished acrylic work generally, but the strength of the effect depends on what is underneath. Iridescent Varnish over strong poured colour reads dramatically; over a quiet painting the sheen stays subtle.
Can I take it off if I do not like it?
Treat it as permanent. A varnish coat is not something to experiment with on finished work, which is why a test piece before applying Iridescent Varnish to a real painting is worth the extra hour.
How is it different from your matt varnish?
They are opposites. Iridescent Varnish adds sheen and shifting colour, while the Winsor & Newton Galeria Matt Varnish takes sheen away. The matt one is also four times the price per millilitre at Rs. 36.67 against Rs. 9.17.
Is it the same thing as a pouring medium?
No, though the labels come from the same fluid-art family. Pouring medium is mixed into paint before pouring; Iridescent Varnish goes on afterwards, once the pour has dried.
How many coats should I apply?
Start with one thin, even coat of Iridescent Varnish and look at it dry before deciding on another. Extra coats build the sheen but also build thickness, and there is no way back once the surface is covered.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Iridescent Varnish 240 mL in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
