Loosens stiff acrylic so it releases off the bristles instead of leaving a track in every stroke.
The 250 mL bottle front on, with the brown band carrying the name in three languages and the volume printed at its foot.
Description
Acrylic Flow Medium solves a specific complaint: paint that drags. Straight acrylic out of the tube is stiff enough that a brush leaves its own tracks in every stroke, which ruins flat areas, fine lines and lettering. This medium loosens the paint so it releases off the bristles smoothly, and the stroke lies down as a flat film rather than as a set of ridges.
The label is the Mont Marte Premium bottle livery with a brown band: Acrylic Flow Medium, Premium, then Médium d'Écoulement Acrylique and Medio de Flujo Acrílico, with 250mL, 8.5 US fl. oz at the foot. The bottle is white plastic with a screw cap and a narrow neck, which suits a medium you add in controlled amounts rather than pour freely.
Where it earns its keep is anything that has to look even. Skies and other flat passages, hard-edged shapes, calligraphic marks, thin lines that must not break, and washes that need to spread rather than sit. Flow medium is also the usual answer when a student acrylic feels gluey and unpleasant to push around, which is common with the cheaper sets sold locally.
Do not confuse it with our Acrylic Pouring Medium, even though both make paint runnier and our photographs of this bottle show marbled and poured work standing beside it. Pouring medium is formulated for fluid art, where paint is thinned heavily and poured as a sheet, and at Rs. 1,250 for 240 mL it is Rs. 5.21 per millilitre against Rs. 6.00 for this one. If pouring is the technique you want, buy the pouring medium — it is both cheaper here and the product designed for it.
It suits acrylic painters from about 12 years up. Add it into the colour on the palette a little at a time; it is a mixing medium rather than something brushed on alone.

FAQs
What does Acrylic Flow Medium do?
Acrylic Flow Medium loosens the paint so it flows off the brush more easily and leaves fewer brush marks in the dried stroke. It is added into the colour on the palette rather than brushed on by itself.
Is Acrylic Flow Medium the same as pouring medium?
No. Acrylic Flow Medium improves how paint releases from a brush; pouring medium is made for fluid art where paint is thinned heavily and poured. Our Acrylic Pouring Medium 240 mL is Rs. 5.21 per millilitre against Rs. 6.00 for this bottle, so for pouring it is both cheaper and correct.
Why not just add water?
Water thins acrylic by diluting the binder, which can leave the dried layer weak or powdery. Acrylic Flow Medium loosens the paint while keeping the binder intact, which is why it is used where the surface has to last.
Will Acrylic Flow Medium help with lettering and fine lines?
That is one of its strongest uses. Stiff acrylic breaks a thin line as the brush runs out of load, and a little Acrylic Flow Medium keeps the paint moving long enough to complete the stroke.
How much should I add?
Add Acrylic Flow Medium a few drops at a time and stop as soon as the paint stops dragging. Too much medium in the mix makes the colour thin and weak-looking, so the useful amount is usually smaller than expected.
Does it change the finish of the dried paint?
It is bought for handling rather than for sheen, unlike the gloss products on our mediums shelf. If a glossy dried film is what you are after, our Acrylic Medium Gloss is the bottle for that job.
Can I use it with the cheap acrylic sets sold locally?
Yes, and it is one of the better reasons to own a bottle. Acrylic Flow Medium is often what makes an inexpensive, gluey acrylic set pleasant to paint with.
Can I pay cash on delivery for Acrylic Flow Medium 250 mL in Pakistan?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available across Pakistan, including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and many other cities.
How fast is delivery in Pakistan?
Orders are confirmed on WhatsApp before dispatch. Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days in major Pakistani cities, depending on courier route and city.
